Artist Bio – Michel Keck
Multidisciplinary Visionary
I am a multidisciplinary artist, creating my visions through paintings, mixed-media collage, and found-object assemblages and sculptures. As a self-taught, self-representing artist, I have been fortunate to earn a living as a full-time artist for over two decades, dedicating my life to exploring and sharing the transformative power of creativity.
Early Inspiration
Art has always been my sanctuary. From a young age, I considered myself an “artist,” and creating as a child was a means of escape. My work retains a raw, childlike quality that resonates deeply with my fans and collectors. I have always embraced the principle: “where focus goes, energy flows,” and my life’s work reflects this truth.
Journey to Full-Time Art
I began creating art full-time in early 2003 after reversing serious health issues through a 100% raw food diet. Sharing my experience online led me to meet another artist who encouraged me to sell my work on eBay. That first step blossomed into a global audience: today, my originals and prints are part of over 5,000 collections in more than 40 countries.
Exhibitions and Collections
My original art and fine art prints have been exhibited in London, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Indianapolis, High Point, Pittsburgh, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, and Hong Kong. My work is held in private and corporate collections, including actors, professional athletes, restaurateurs, a prominent 2024 presidential candidate, and billionaire collector Chin H. Chu.
Inspiration and Influences
I draw inspiration from nature, personal life experiences, music, and my Christian faith. I am deeply fascinated by heart/brain coherence and the work of researchers such as Joe Dispenza and Gregg Braden. After the passing of my grandmother, the integration of scripture and symbolic cross elements became a defining theme in many of my works.
Heart, Mind & Creative Coherence
My found-object hearts are born from what I experience as true heart/brain coherence — a state where the rhythms of the heart and mind align, and the body moves into balance and flow. Research from institutions like the HeartMath Institute demonstrates that when people generate sincere positive emotions such as love, gratitude, or compassion, heart rhythms become smooth and sine-wave-like, synchronizing with brain activity. In this aligned state, cognitive clarity improves, emotions stabilize, and the body enters a mode of regeneration and resilience.
Inspired by teachings of Joe Dispenza and others exploring the heart-brain connection, I believe that when we create from such coherence — when heart rhythm, mind, intention, and emotion are in harmony — we’re accessing a deeper, energetic intelligence. From that place, what might seem impossible, including spontaneous healing and transformative insight, becomes possible. Each found-object heart I build is a vessel for this coherence: a tangible embodiment of intention, resilience, regeneration, and connection.

Artistic Style and Approach
Collectors often remark that my portfolio appears as if it could belong to several different artists — a testament to my curiosity, experimentation, and creative restlessness. My art is frequently described as dark yet uplifting, evoking both sadness and joy. I am drawn to exploring the battle between good and evil, a theme reflected in my admiration for works like Hieronymus Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights, which remains a favorite of mine for its haunting yet timeless commentary on human society.
Advocacy for Artists’ Rights
Having experienced serious intellectual property theft by individuals and corporations worldwide, I have become a vocal advocate for artists’ rights. I have witnessed firsthand how independent creators can be treated unfairly compared to celebrities and large corporations. After having my federally registered trademark waived without my knowledge or authorization in court, I am using my platform to promote fairness, awareness, and stronger support for independent creators.
The Creative Process
For me, creating art is a cathartic and deeply emotional process — an unpredictable roller coaster of highs, lows, twists, and turns. Each piece reflects the energy flowing through me in that moment, capturing thoughts, feelings, and the dynamic pulse of the world around me. Through my work, I invite viewers to experience raw, unfiltered emotion, grounding them in the present and encouraging connection with the energy that drives us all. My art celebrates movement, change, and the catharsis of letting go.
